From the team behind Lingo Service Translations and Arabic Translation UK: the group's specialist studio for Arabic localisation worldwide.

Arabic that reads like it was written in Arabic.

Six services from one specialist studio. Native Arabic linguists work on every project, our engineers rebuild the layout to read right to left, and we check the result in the format you publish in.

One product. Both directions.

The same screen in English and in Arabic. The layout is reversed, the progress bar runs the other way, and every element sits where an Arabic user expects it.

What changes when a product goes right to left

Arabic changes more than the words. We rebuild in the source file, never with a plugin, and native speakers check every screen before delivery.

  • Margins, menus and images swap sidesThe whole layout is rebuilt in the source file, never flipped by a plugin.
  • Progress bars, sliders and charts run the other wayAnything that shows direction or order is mirrored, not just moved.
  • Numerals, dates and currencies re-set for the marketEastern or Western digits, date order and currency placement follow the market you sell to.
  • Type reshaped correctly, no broken lettersArabic letters join; we check shaping, kashida and line breaks in the real font.
  • Icons flipped only where their meaning flipsBack arrows flip; clocks, logos and media controls do not.
  • Tables, forms and pagination reverse their orderColumn order, label alignment and next and previous controls all follow the reading direction.

Modern Standard Arabic, or the dialect your market speaks.

We write Modern Standard Arabic when you are addressing every Arab market, and a regional dialect when one market needs a local voice. We will advise you on which is right for your project.

Questions we are asked first.

Anything else, send it with your files and we answer in the quote.

Do you provide certified translations?

No. This studio does localisation and creative work only. For certified document translations accepted by UK authorities, use our sister company Arabic Translation UK.

Which Arabic do you write?

Modern Standard Arabic by default, because every Arab market reads it. When a project needs to feel local we adapt to Gulf, Egyptian, Levantine and other regional voices, and we tell you when that is worth doing.

How is pricing calculated?

Per project: words for text, minutes for video and voiceover, screens for courses, pages for layout work. You get one fixed quote before we start, usually within one working day.

Can you work under NDA?

Yes, as standard. NDAs are signed before we see a file, and confidential product material stays confidential.

Can you build a course rather than localise one?

Yes. Send a brief and source material and we script, record and build the course in Arabic from the start, delivered as a tested SCORM or xAPI package.

Where are you based?

Cardiff, United Kingdom, as part of the Lingo Service group, working with clients worldwide.
